When I log on to the home page of this site, i get a list of "Private Discussions", but when I go to the "Discussions" page they are not listed anywhere. How do I find them?

As of the new upgrade, the private forums are hidden from you unless you have access to them. As it stands, you wouldn't really even know they existed unless you had access to them.
What we will probably have to do is create a list of private forums that is publicly accessible so that you can ask for permission to post. Thank you for pointing that out! We'll get that up soon.
